[They had indeed shared plenty of secrets and other hushed truths about themselves and their past, showed their true colors to one another, bared their darkness and hurt within their souls. Those worked as sign of solid, unwavering trust more than any oaths formed by excess words.

And yet. The explicit, verbal confirmation was what Richard wanted. They had shown the proof of their connection with their bodies but there was still something lacking. Simple words, but the importance they held was immense, weighting more than any gold that one could possess.

With his chest still raising and falling heavily under his labored breath Richard kept watching his lover, prepared to hear more opposing words. While Silco lacked on the physical prowess it did not mean that he was not a fighter. It was that fiery, relentless spirit of his that had pulled Richard closer, kindred spirit calling for another. But to have that rebellion aimed at him cracks against his mind, prodding and poking at an ancient wound that kept refusing from closing.

Guess they both still managed to hurt each other unconsciously.

His face was still flushed and red from the arousal, lips plump and wet. Swallowing air, he reached to accept the hand extended towards him and allowed himself to be pulled.]

Then swear it to me, Silco. [He repeats as he settled back on the man's lap. Placing both of his legs on his sides he nestles closer, leaning his forehead on Silco's healthy side of neck.]
