[He clenched his jaw at the morose boar, and he shook his head, purposefully turning his chair so it blocked his view of the door. He knew for a fact that Whitey knew where Richard was and could find the man, so this whole 'sad' routine was old and worn, and it angered him. Things were as they were before Jinx left, nothing more, nothing less.

This was what they had agreed upon with razor-sharp precision. It was the way it must be. It was the way they required it. Besides, Richard had the inn now, and with so many new arrivals, it would be quite the undertaking for the younger man.

He also had Jinx to consider. She wasn't well and needed time for recovery, especially since she was so... different.

Silco heard the meep and clenched his fists before he pushed himself out of his chair and came around to head to the front door. Yes, boars didn't have opposable thumbs, which made exiting from a door difficult. He walked over to the door where a small pile of snow was still melting and opened it wide enough for Whitey to be able to exit.]

Don't even consider begging to come in and out constantly as a method for attention seeking. It's one or the other.

[He was too frustrated to pick up on the usual cues, of course. Seeing Whitey reminded him of Richard, and that was a pinch point he was avoiding thinking about.]
