Who knew you had such little fortitude for actual emotion. I'm looking forward to cleaning up the mess you make of Jinx for this.

[He absolutely was not. He was keenly aware of the reaction that she was going to have, and the only blessing in this scenario was that it was Ragna's decision and nothing that she had done. It would still devastate her, and Silco would be the one to clean her up. He always did. He always wanted to be there for her, to pull her close and keep her there.

This was why one shouldn't allow themselves to grow close to people. They always disappointed in the end.]

[ The mention of Jinx gives him a pause, unsurprisingly. As always, Silco knows how to hit where it hurts the most ─ in this case, the fact that Ragna is causing her so much grief right now. As if he doesn't wish there was some other way. ]

[When it was clear that Ragna was going to attempt to make the ultimate sacrifice and there was nothing he or Jinx could say or do to stop him at present, he was no above cutting the other to the quick in response. Anything to force a brief pause as he moved to gather his daughter so that they could hunt for Ragna.]
