[Richard was the only one to write him letters, and it was something so old fashioned that he actually enjoyed it. He left the door open so Whitey could wander into the house as he wandered to the table where he had a pen.]
My tailor is reputable and has not suffered much from the malfunction of this place. I will arrange for you to come and be measured as well as give details to the styles that you would enjoy wearing. If you would prefer, I can also make myself available to discuss more modern fabrics than perhaps you are used to.
[After writing on the back of Richard's parchment, he rose to look for the boar.]
[Whitey, meanwhile, has found a comfy spot on the floor to lie down. He's just about to close his eyes and drift off when Silco walks up to him with a paper on his hand. The brown eyes look up from the floor and he lets out a huff.
You guys really know how to work him to the bone!]
[He leaned over to view Whitey enjoying a small amount of rest on the floor. He waited for Whitey to stand up before easing into a crouch and giving the boar a small pat on the head.]
I will be heading to the tailor for month-end activities. If Richard wants to drop by today, I will be there and can arrange for him to have the fitting he wishes.
[He offered the paper to Whitey, aware that none of what he said was in the parchment. He had come to know that the boar was an intelligent loyal companion to Richard.]
[Fine fine, he's getting up!! But hey, at least the head pat is nice. He's really proud of you Silco. You have come so far with your petting technique. Your training has not been in vain.
He lets out a satisfied gruff and brushes his cheek against Silco's leg. He then raises up to his hind legs briefly to grab the letter and turns around to deliver it back to his master.
Now whether Whitey was being lazy or otherwise slow, it takes about two hours or so before the pig drops by the tailor shop. At first he tries to push the door open with his little pink snout but alas, struggle is real. Luckily Richard is right behind him and aids his companion and pushes the door open properly, stepping inside.]
[He'd had one too many run-ins with poor technique while also ending up with the pig in bed next to him that he had been forced to learn. He had come to accept that Whitey was one of the fixtures of Richard's bed when it came to sleeping arrangements, which was good as it allowed him to sneak out of bed if he needed to and not worry about the younger man waking. Whitey was the true hero, though Silco still wasn't certain about pets.
He was already at the Tailor as promised organizing the hand written receipts on the counter. The tailor was in the back making alterations to an outfit, leaving Silco to man the front counter as well, which was not a job he completely disliked. It allowed him to gauge productivity and also people watch. This place was still malfunctioning hard, so it was good to know what was being damaged. Thankfully, he had returned to normal over a week ago.
He looked up as the door opened, spotting the unusual pair wandering into the shop. A little bell jingled above the door, and his hands barely paused in counting the pile of receipts as he watched the younger man wander inside.] Welcome. I assume Whitey required a nap before you were directed here.
